So you want to learn about advertising on Nest Vintage Modern? That’s great! Have a seat and let me tell you all about us.
Nest Vintage Modern averages 9,000-12,000 unique visitors a month, each of those visitors average 3-5 pageviews apiece. We have a very engaged Facebook following of 29,000 fans. We are active on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest as well, though our strongest following is definitely on Facebook.
Press and exposure:
Nest Vintage Modern has been featured on Martha Stewart Radio, in Chicago Home + Garden Magazine, and at the 2013 Country Living Fair as well as many publications local to the Chicago area. We are also featured in the pilot reality series “American Dealers”.
About our readers:
Nest readers average 25-60 and are mostly women living in the United States. They enjoy vintage home decor, DIY projects, and have a great sentimental attachment to those wonderful old items we all remember from our grandmother’s home. They’re likely to shop at Anthropologie, on Etsy.com, and read publications like Country Living, Flea Market Style, and Martha Stewart Living.
Types of ads we accept:
We typically feature 3 options for advertising your product or service.
1) One would be a 125 x 125 pixel ad in the right rail. Those are intended for small businesses and bloggers and run $20 a month. They’re designed to be very affordable. Ads rotate position within their designated area. We bill monthly via Paypal. You provide your ad creative and where you’d like it to link to. Please be sure whoever designs your ad properly optimizes it to the smallest file size possible without sacrificing the image quality. Animated ads are fine, but should play through 2 times and hold on a final frame which contains your call to action.
2) A second advertising option is the sponsored post. Those are negotiated separately and will be featured prominently on the website as well as to our social media network. Sponsored posts are called out as such.
3) Reviews are free and only require a physical, nonreturnable sample product. These may be negotiated in tandem with a giveaway, which will really boost your exposure. Our readership shows a large spike when we run giveaways.
I very much enjoy teaching and speaking with groups about everything from vintage collections, how to refinish flea market furniture, upcycling and repurposing, and helping other small businesses learn how to get on the web and navigating social media.
If you would like to arrange terms for your business, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and use the word “Advertising” in the subject line. We’ll typically get back to you the same day.
