Dave and I are laying in bed, looking at pictures from when he and Sophia first started getting to know each other and just marveling at how small she was.

We went to Target earlier to gather up a few little things to pack in the hospital bag, which we’ll pack this weekend. The car seat will go in the back of the car, a diaper bag of things little babies need, and Sophia’s own tote full of distractions & a change of clothes.

Then…we wait.

It’s heartbreaking that Autumn isn’t here to share in the excitement and enjoy her siblings, but that’s not up to me. Sigh.
