I’ve been trying a bunch of different biscuit recipes and techniques lately. I’ve made them my whole life, but they recently struck me as such a charming food. Biscuits require hands full of love. You can’t just whip them out. You have to let them have some time. You can’t handle them too much. But the ingredients are so simple.
Tonight I tried another way of doing them where you gently roll out the dough and cut straight down. Very happy with the results.
This will be a fun little journey. I’ll share the recipes I try out along the way.
Tonight’s version was from one of my grandmother’s old cookbooks. I’ll post the recipe later on when I get home.
Do you have a favorite biscuit recipe? How do you prepare them?
